a good day...?

well, the day started well...

for some reason i was up at 9:30, so i talked to hersh for a bit... then i went back to sleep

i woke up later to find a msg from my grandfather, saying that if i changed my mind and wanted to come home, that i should call... its not that i don't want to come home (i desperately do) its that i can't. i have 4 weeks to gather data, write a paper and make a poster for this project... the supposed culmination of my senior year. i also have to begin researching for a million other things...

i then got my act together, took my shower, watched the promo dvd of wild arms and a few eps of big-o then hiked to the lab. but first... mail time!

i got video wave today, a check for 26 bucks (yay for rebates) and other random shit. so i went over to talk to dr. Kliman... while discussing summer options (and that dreaded next semester...) the conclusion was reached that i can do it, depending on my status of next semester. now, i'm really considering the masters in edu program. he also gave me a big compliment.... cause he's well aware of my situation... but he was willing ot let me work this summer cause i'm good in the lab and i know/understand what i'm doing. (um, isn't advanced recombinant dna techniques something i'm dabbling in, at least a little bit??)

anyway, i felt good... not to mention i was having a good hair day :) until i got back to install videowave... AND THE MOFO DON'T WORK i'm highly upset cause the money i used for that could have been better spent so if i don't get it workign soon, i'm gonna be pissy....

so anyway... aside from that, tonight is going well, i guess.... too many aim windows open.... but that's ok... i can stll watch 24 :)
