i got a feeling, i'm not the only one
all i wanna do is catch some z's
- wait, why am i singing cheryl crow? i can't stand her.... anyway... i'm sleepy... i have japanese in about an hour and a half.. i don't really want to go, but i have to. oboemasen... (i don't remember) demo.... i really should go... i finished 1 question for my midterm. i have the framework for 5 and 6. i'm having issues with number 1 so i think ill do either 3 or 4 instead. (well since i have to do 4:6, that kinda narrows that down, doesn't it??)
anyway... i'll hope to have that done sometime before 9 and then i can type minutes and be done for the night around 10:30... unless i get distracted... which is typical of my life ;) yay for distracti..... ooooo shiny..... wait, where was i... yes, um... so tomorrow i don't have to go to the lab quite yet... liz is doing her sequencing today, so it won't be done until late tomorrow night, so i guess i'll put mine in on wednesday which will be just fine and dandy. shouldn't take too long.... insert primer into sequence mix... insert into sequencer.... click some buttons on the mac... and away we go! yay for sequencing.... the analysis is gonna take some time in the next week or so... i'm kinda looking forward to that... but my eyes tend to start hurting from the monitors after 5 hours of it.... mwr.... but i love how some of my sequence is coming out! its amazing how well it all lines up against melanogaster and where changes are/aren't occuring!! for once i'm actually enjoying science. if i could only apply that enthusiasm to the classroom setting of science... (i took notes AND stayed awake in biochem today... go me)...
anyway... today this midterm, tomorrow i'll start getting ready for my history test, thrusday will be biochem day (quiz on friday) - gotta memorize glycolysis, and this weekend will be enough free time for me to actually get off my ass and do my ethics paper... its only 10-15 pgs long >:o(
so if anyone has anyhting about HMO's and genetic testing..... SEND IT TO ME!!!
this friday night we're watching japanorama for anime club. it'll be so exciting. i can't wait to see what its all about... finally, something i haven't seen. and next week is the eva-thon!! yay, yet something else new to me!! finally something that ISN'T mine in the anime world. Erin from our amnesty international club has been in touch with me about co-sponsoring a movie. So on the 28th, we're gonna watch grave of fireflies... i should bring the tissues.... it'll be cool cause we wanna book the theatre for it... ghibli on the big screen.... ahhhh (i missed spirited away in theatres).
i got a quazi confirmation on the BIG surprise ;) so the ball is rolling on that, which makes me very happy. i hope robert-sama likes it.... cause either way, i'm gonna have fun with it :) it'll just make for a long, exciting day ;)
wow, 2:30 already... i guess i should start remembering some nihongo words....
